Survival Desert

Experience

I had the opportunity to contribute to the pre-production of Survival Desert, a cooperative game currently in development.
This experience allowed me to work on various level designs and adapt game mechanics as the project evolved.
By creating diverse environments and integrating new gameplay elements, I refined my level design skills while collaborating with the team to shape a cohesive and immersive game experience.

Development Contributions

Procedural Generation (PCG)

  • Randomly generated map, fully playable.
  • Integration of diverse biomes (farm, mine, canyon…).
  • Procedural placement of gameplay elements (loot, enemy spawns…).

Level Design & Structure

  • Pathway design leading to key objectives.
  • Multiple entry points for each area.
  • Strategic placement of points of interest, enemies, and gameplay mechanics.
  • Story-driven mission design.
  • Vertical dungeon construction dedicated to platforming challenges.

Gameplay Programming

  • Development of dynamic mission elements.
  • Prototyping & iteration on multiple boss fights.
