Far Far West

Experience

During the pre-production of Far Far West, a cooperative game currently in development, I contributed as a Technical Level Designer by exploring level design directions and prototyping gameplay ideas. I worked on creating varied environments and integrating new gameplay elements while adapting to the evolving needs of the project. This work was carried out in close collaboration with the team to support the development of a cohesive cooperative experience.

Development Contributions

Procedural Generation (PCG)

  • Randomly generated map, fully playable.
  • Integration of diverse biomes (farm, mine, canyon…).
  • Procedural placement of gameplay elements (loot, enemy spawns…).

Level Design & Structure

  • Pathway design leading to key objectives.
  • Multiple entry points for each area.
  • Strategic placement of points of interest, enemies, and gameplay mechanics.
  • Story-driven mission design.
  • Vertical dungeon construction dedicated to platforming challenges.

Gameplay Programming

  • Development of dynamic mission elements.
  • Prototyping & iteration on multiple boss fights.
